Each year, the Community Action Partnership of Mercer County helps thousands of people work toward self-sufficiency.

On many occasions, we are the agency of last resort; the place people turn to when they have exhausted all other means. We often provide assistance not available from any other federal, state or local organization. In order to continue to do this, we need your support. Even though we receive state and Federal grants; we are not a government agency. We must raise funds locally to sustain our programs and to continue to develop and implement new local initiatives to meet the needs of our residents.

We accept donations to assist homeless families with essential items, to include food, clothing and gas cards, transitional hotel stays while they are waiting for placement and or document fees.   Please send a check or money order to CAPMC 75 S. Dock St.  Sharon, PA 16146

ASSETS Development Fund

Formerly the Linda Errett Memorial Fund; re-purposed to provide match contributions to agency clients participating in our ASSETs Initiative.

This program enables eligible participants to move toward self-sufficiency by establishing a savings account, at a participating lender for the purpose of saving toward goals leading toward self-sufficiency. Saving goals could include saving for a home, education, a vehicle, a home based business and the like. CAPMC will match participant’s deposits dollar for dollar up to $2000 of earned savings. Participants will not be able to access CAPMC match funds until their savings goals have been achieved, match dollars will be paid to the vendor.
