SSVF Services:

This program is a case management program for Military Veterans who are homeless (Homeless category 1- means: an individual or family who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence; a primary nighttime residence that is a public or private place not meant for human habitation or living in a shelter). This is what is known as the RRH (Rapid Rehousing portion of the program). The other portion of the program is HP (Homeless Prevention) this is for Military Veterans who may become homeless and are in need of rental assistance and other support services (such as finding housing)- The program does have income guidelines (80% of AMI or less) and restrictions so some Veterans may not qualify. Priority is given to those who are literally homeless and have a valid housing crisis and are at the lower end of the AMI. This program is in conjunction with the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership. This program is not for homeowners. Primary contact person, James Reardon 724-342-6222 ext. 18
