CAPMC is a certified HUD Housing Counseling agency. We provide HUD housing counseling services under contract with the Mon Valley Initiative, the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and the City of Sharon.
Counseling services include:
- Homebuyer Education
- Budget Counseling
- Credit Recovery
- Rental Housing Assistance and
- Credit/Budget Counseling for perspective home buyers.
Homebuyer Education and Closing Cost Assistance Grants are also available through our relationship with the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) as well as foreclosure and refinancing assistance through HUD.

Water & Rental Assistance Program (WRAP)
The WRAP Program is available to low income families in Mercer County. Individuals who are looking for assistance with a security deposit for their water or who have fallen behind in their payments may qualify.
Individuals must be income eligible and must provide a shut off notice and documentation that their hardship is temporary. All qualifying individuals will be required to attend budgeting counseling.
Rental assistance is provided to low income individuals who meet eligibility requirements and can provide an eviction notice. These individuals must have a verifiable monthly income to include but not be limited to: full/part-time employment, SSA, SSDI, etc. All qualifying individuals will be required to attend budget counseling.
